Whitehall Regional Emerging Technology Laboratory
Located in Whitehall, Wis., this newly remodeled 16,000+ sq. ft. facility will serve as a center of excellence for advanced technology instruction, offering students in the region access to cutting-edge education and training opportunities, industry recognized credentials and will open a wide range of future possibilities for high-skilled employment and post-secondary education.
Mobile Skills Laboratory
This state-of-the-art mobile classroom, equipped to offer advanced training in electronics, manufacturing processes, automation, and robotics. The facility is designed to provide students with invaluable hands-on experience and cutting-edge skills to prepare them for the future.
Cotter Schools
The Ronald and Joyce Wanek Foundation provided funds to Cotter Schools to support the acquisition of equipment, including a FANUC industrial robot, for the new engineering program at the school for grades 7-12.This new engineering program has been designed to prepare students for engineering and technology careers and to provide a hands-on learning experience that develops skills closely connected to the workforce needs of the future.
Luther High School
The Ronald & Joyce Wanek Foundation granted Luther the funds to acquire state-of-the-art equipment and curriculum. This will provide ample opportunities to connect students with high-demand and high-wage career fields and support student learning that will best prepare them for their future.
STEM 101
Ashley Furniture Industries and the Ronald & Joyce Wanek Foundation each partnered with The STEM Academy, Inc. (STEM 101) to develop unique courses and learning units to expose thousands of students to technical trades and the associated career opportunities with hands-on classroom projects.
